Ceiba tree:'The Ceiba tree, also known as the "tree of life," plays a significant role in Guatemalan mythology, particularly in Mayan culture. This towering tree is considered a sacred symbol of the connection between the spiritual and earthly realms. It links the underworld, where the dead reside, with the heavens, where the gods reside. The Ceiba tree was believed to be home to various Mayan deities, and it was often used as a gathering place for community rituals and ceremonies. The tree's immense size and majesty were a reminder of the power of nature and the divine forces that govern it.'
